PUBLIC SCREENING & OPEN FORUM

I recently visited MacEwan University in Edmonton, Canada as a visiting scholar focusing on lectures about Cinematic Video Journalism, Storytelling in Documentary Filmmaking, Joint Authorship/Collaborative Filmmaking Techniques, Participatory Video & Citizen Journalism and Film festival Guidelines for Emerging Filmmakers.
It was my first trip to Canada, and the country was everything I have heard about. The social culture, politics and its governance are deeply rooted in the shared values of fairness, equality, respect for all individuals in society. We have so much to learn from the community here at the Edmonton. It was a short stay but I truly enjoyed the experience despite the weather.
