Media Coverage on "Best Emerging Student Documentary Award" at the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at Cannes
I would to thank all the local (Malaysian) mass media for your generous coverage of the event, I truly appreciate them. However, at times, I do cringe when media cite that I won the best student documentary award at the Cannes Film Festival instead of - The American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at Cannes. I'm aware of the debate over this topic, especially among the journalistic community. Accuracy and facts are vital, therefore, I applaud those who did your extensive research and contacted me for further clarification. Thank you.
